This is a more refined version of the USN deck sweater worn by American sailors during WWII, instead of the heavy gauge wool that Heimat is renowned for, this uses a lighter merino; though thicker and more plush than most merinos you might see. The sweat itself is also more form-fitting so we'd advise sizing up if you want to accomodate much more than a thin tee or shirt. The mock-neck collar give a refined finish for a refined garment, more after dinner cabin attire than man with Milk Tray.
